This report follows a successful completion of the ICWC Training Center's workshop on "Integrated Water Resources Management at district level" that held from December 22 to 26, 2003 in the main office of ICWC TC in the BWO "Syrdarya" in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.






The workshop participants were listened to presentations of lecturers and made their own presentations on current situation of the water resources management and visions towards perspectives of implementing of Integrated Water Resources Management at narrower scale as a district. The workshop program included management, planning, control, institutional, legal aspects of water resources along with world and regional experiences on integrated water resources management. The special handouts on world experience on water resources management, prepared by ICWC TC were distributed among the participants.
